We recently spent 2 wonderful nights in the gorgeous Cornish village of Polperro and stayed at The Watchers. This wonderful B&B was everything we could have hoped for and more. Patsy and John were so welcoming and chatted to us about the area when we first arrived. Our rooms (we had two - one for us and the other for...

Please do not take any notice of the negative reviews on here, one or two people who like moan at most things! We were greeted with a very warm welcome and a bit of banter right from the off. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was gorgeous, a full English on the first day, followed by smoked haddock...

The owners are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. The accommodation is of a high standard, and the breakfast very filling and tasty. If you are on the first floor at the front, the view across the harbour is excellent. The view however comes at the cost of the walk to the B&B. Travel with light bags, or...

Had the most amazing stay at The Watchers. Found it years ago and tracked it down on Trip Advisor. The room was fantastic, lovely friendly couple, breakfast great, best yoghurt in town! A shame we'd only booked for 1 night, will definitely stay for longer next time. This is the best B&B we've ever stayed in.

This was our first stay at The Watchers and yes - past negative reviews did worry me a bit. However, I have to say that they were totally unfounded in our opinion. John and Patsy were lovely hosts and made us feel more than welcome, in what is in fact 'their home'. Our room with ensuite shower room was faultless...

This was the 3rd time we'd stayed here and this time we were lucky enough to get the room with the view! ( The back room is still nice though) The view is my favourite in Cornwall and could sit for ages admiring it. Am really puzzled by the negative reviews as we have always found Patsy and John to...
