Staff were very friendly and loved the food. Room was average but did the job after a long day of walking. Great location as walking distance to the town. People all over town were so friendly. Would highly recommend visiting Port Isaac for sure.

We stayed at the Old School Hotel in March 17... Firstly, when we arrived our room wasn't ready until around 15.00 which was a bit disappointing after a long drive.... Never the less, we had a stroll around the village and took a trip to the local pub which killed a bit of time before we checked in....!! Once we...

The Latin room has pristine views of the harbor and of Fern Cottage, the house that is used for the exteriors of Doc Martin's home and surgery. It is right across the harbor. This room is very large with high ceilings and timber details exposes. Gothic windows. Modern bathroom with a deep, modern soaking tub. All of the hotel hosts...

So not a lot to say about this one except, we were directed to a noisy bar occupied by intoxicated locals, took ages to get our order and when it did come the tea was cold, the scones were stale and squirty cream was used. Disgusting. I will never go back as we were given the take it or leave...

Room was lovely but common areas were very tired and lacked investment. The manageress was excellent however the other breakfast staff showed total disinterest. The breakfast selection of cereals was very limited and disappointing. They ran out of cuisants on both days. The cooked breakfast was average with bacon so hard you could re-sole your shoes with it. No haddock...

I visited Port Isaac a few weeks ago, and had the pleasure of staying here. The hotel itself is perched on a hill, overlooking the most beautiful bay in this quaint little town. Once you are able to treat yourself away from the view, you'll notice that the hotel itself is a beautifully converted from what I imagine used to...

Booked a one night stay on bed and breakfast basis - there is a restaurant but we had already booked in elsewhere beforehand. Great location and has it's own car park which is a must for Port Isaac. Lovely hotel, welcoming staff and all very clean and cosy. Being the old school house has given the rooms and the restaurant...

My wife and I recently returned from a lovely stay in Port Issac. We like to visit multiple restaurants and the Old School is a great place to eat. Great service, lovely food and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.

Had coffee at the Old School Hotel and returned later for lunch. Service good from attentive staff. Generous portions of food, nicely cooked. Enjoyable spot to while away an hour or so lunching and chatting.

We had dinner here and were not disappointed. The menu was just right - the variety of food just enough to suit all palates. Service was excellent and very friendly and the setting warm and welcoming. Our food was cooked fresh and delicious. Would definitely visit again.
