The Slip is a great base for walking the nearby cliff paths. My twin room was clean and comfortable. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious. The team were so helpful, and friendly, and I would definitely come back to stay again.

On a cold wet and stormy Friday night at the end of January we were very pleased to see that The Slipway was about the only place in Port Isaac to open their doors – (he other was The Old School House). After a long drive down from Sheffield it was particularly welcome. We had a warm welcome in the...

Long weekend here in very quaint, unusual property. Clean and tidy with eclectic local clientele. Great breakfasts and enjoyable evening meal. Only setbacks are access/ parking and Sunday night closure (nothing else open in winter). But nice experience

Thank you for your lovely review. sorry about the parking issues but the village didn't think of cars back in 1527 when we were built :) also as i am writing this the seawater is coming right up to our front door so i wouldn't want a car out the front tonight! Sunday evening is only a winter thing as...

Stayed here for two nights. Lovely old building, quaint features but up to date fixtures inside. View from the room of the port. Stayed as a couple but had enough room and beds for a family. Staff were great throughout. Lovely little bar and breakfast fantastic.

We were so lucky with a long sunny winter weekend - the Slipway was great - amazing breakfast. Lovely dog walks along the coastal path and great to relive the Doc Martin set. Highly recommend this beautiful place. So much so we've booked to go back for Christmas 🎄

Spent two nights there last weekend with my wife. Occupied room 11 which was the family room and other than the low ceilings we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was fine both mornings but they ran out of fruit cocktail before we got down for breakfast. I had a salmon meal which was very enjoyable. Evening meal was also very...

Hi Duncan thanks for the review, Room 11 has got low Cornish ceilings but makes up in space and the best view out the window. ( the room is getting a full renovation in March but unfortunately i can't lift the roof) Sorry about the fruit cocktail running out. there is no excuse for that and you can be assured...

Great location on the seafront and central to the shops and pubs, not that Port Isaac is very large. Quiet there during our stay so they closed the bar and restaurant early after consulting us.
