Our first impression was not good ..children running around and the bar full of vocal drinkers but the staff were helpful. The room initially disappointing as we paid £90 for a tiny room overlooking another house.. so we had to keep the curtains closed for privacy..not ideal The room though small had everything you need TV coffee making facilities and...

We were staying for one night and the staff made us feel very welcome. Port Isaac is what you expect it to be with the added extra for Doc Martin fans. We found the hotel to be clean, although it possibly could do with a freshening up, but obviously the room sizes are dictated by the age of the building....

If it's a flash accommodation that you seek, or the most comfortable bed, then you possibly won't find it here. The rooms are clean and adequate. The food though is delicious, the staff are friendly and accommodating and the hotel itself is brimming with character. It's perfectly located if you love the smell of sea air, the sound of the...

we arrived on Wednesday my husband and I to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary, first impressions were that it was clean, however the water in the shower would not drain away due to it being so clogged with hair. after coming out of the shower my feet were covered in mud grit and sand from just walking out of the...

Stopped here for lunch on our day out to Doc Martins. Hoped to sit out where the Doc sits but already occupied. Sat upstairs with views across the harbour - lovely. Limited but tasty menu and friendly staff. Timely service.

We were expecting the hotels and pubs to be cashing in on Doc Martin fame and that's pretty much what we got. The room was like being in a cupboard with a bed in it. The carpet was filthy as was the radiator. The bed was rock hard with pillows that were so flat it was a waste of time...

Came here last month with my Mum to treat her for her 89th birthday and she loved every minute of it. So glad I picked the Slipway as it was probably one of the most conveniently located stays in Port Isaac. OK, so it's not the most luxurious but it's quirky and comfortable, the staff were welcoming and the breakfast...

We stayed in Port Isaac for four nights and came here twice for our main meal. The bar is dog friendly so it was perfect for us. The staff were really friendly and made us feel right at home, and even served us after the kitchen closed! We went on Steak night and had the best rump steak of my...

This was the quaintest, quirkiest little hotel we've stayed in. We arrived mid afternoon and the road down to the harbour is very narrow. We were allowed to offload our luggage outside the hotel, but had to manoeuvre back up the hill to park the car in the public car park. The charge for this is £5 for 24hrs. We...
