I was here last summer and visited restaurant. Ordered a chicken dish and it didn't match what was described on the menu. The potato cakes which were supposed to acoompany it weren't there. Instead I was served three boiled new potatoes, arrange between three large pieces of slimy courgette. It looked ridiculous, assumedly they'd run out of potato cakes (or...

The hotel was all that was advertised as in position. We're a little disappointed in the menu. Also the the strong smell of fish was off putting. We had a room over looking the harbour, it was a great view.

Whilst the location of the hotel is great, it was very overpriced for what was on offer. I would normally expect to pay half the price for similar facilities. The room was small, and reached via some very tired parts of the hotel and facilities. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. There was a huge 'staff row' going on...

This is a very old hotel with lots of history. I wanted to stay here because of the Doc Martin thing and also be right in the middle of Port Isacc. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs and it did overlook the small harbour. The room was small but clean and comfortable but it was a little cold....

We took refuge in the Slipway during a rainy visit to Port Isaac, I had a pint of Doombar and my with and Mum went for a cream tea, the beer was excellent and the cream tea was huge, certainly the best portions we've had whilst visiting Cornwall! A great spot with friendly staff.

The restaurant in this hotel offers a 8oz rump steak and trimmings for £10 on Thursday evenings. Six of us tried this offer on 10th March and were very impressed both nwith the quality and quantity of this steak meal. Furthermore, the service was friendly and very efficient. Well worth a visit, but booking is recommended as it is very...

So we actually stayed up the road from this place but we chose this for dinner as all three of us are very fussy eaters! I went online and saw that they had a wide choice of food for everyone, however I didn't read that this a seasonal menu and not everything was on the menu at the same time....

Ok so I stayed at the slipway for 3 nights in March I had visited port issac before as a kid so I knew what it was like...It's not a movie set for Dr Martin it's a very old fishing village unchanged by modern times! This is why I chose to stay here, the roads are challenging even by Cornish standards...

Adequate stay but grossly overpriced. Could not believe no scones or cake available for afternoon tea, had to offer to sell them some of the homemade cake we brought with us. Don't go unless you have a special offer as the other pub in the village was much more welcoming.

Arrived mid afternoon, it was explained that we could unload the car and then show us to our room, nice Room (14), clean tidy, modern & fresh. It was explained where we could park, (we were aware this was the case, having visiting Port Isaac previously) which is quite some way off. It cost £2.70 for 24 hours. When booking...
