My wife and I have had a very traumatic time this year and I just wanted to take her away and give her some time out. Port Isaac seemed the perfect place, but due to it's popularity it was difficult to find something at short notice. I checked on booking.com and couldn't believe my luck when a room was available...

yes, the view is super, the bed linen clean. breakfast on tray at 9 am,no choice, no cooked one, but what was brought to the room is good and plentiful. no information/tips in the room about the village/area. (some leaflets). dissappointingly the room and bathroom was not cleaned or tidied up on the second day. the toilet does not flush...

Okay stay, but that was mainly because me and me mum work in hospitality and have a high tolerance level. No cooked breakfast and we are big eaters, only half a cup of coffee with breakfast, breakfast left on a tray outside room...woken up 2.30am by shouting idiots downstairs, the owner and friends I think, possibly saw them drive off...

If you live in the world of Ikea and MDF this is not for you! You walk through the Artists.s shop up som quirky steps with paintings, artworks and original sculptures here and there. Then into your room with an enormous bed and genuine art deco furnishings. If you wish you can relax in the rear ornate garden where Martin the owner...

First the good points. Great location overlooking the harbour smallish room but comfortable bed and fine for an overnight stay with great view from the bedroom window BUT the shared bathroom is a bit rundown with the shower screen very wobbly. The breakfast was disappointing - no choice of cooked breakfast or real coffee and eating in my room was...

WE did not read the reviews prior to staying. our remit was book a room with a view anything else would be a bonus. EXCELLENT location, walking distance to places to eat out and local shops. Locals friendly. Views of the Harbour to die for from first floor room. GOOD continental breakfast each morning. Owner Martyn very friendly, welcoming and...

We booked this place without looking at Tripadvisor first and to be honest I'm quite surprised by the plethora of bad reviews. Someone in a previous review described this place as "quirky" and that's exactly what it is. The furnishings perhaps could be tidier and of better quality, the place in general could perhaps do with being a tad cleaner...

From the moment we arrived at this quirky Bed & Breakfast we were made to feel extremely welcome by Martin the Artist owner. It was like meeting a friend we hadn't seen for a while. Yes you do have to park at a nearby car park, but the views are stunning on a short walk down to the Gallery. The...

Should of read reviews from here not booking.com. Much more accurate description. Very expensive for what it is plus daily parking charges £4.00 plus. A walk through through the coastal path with heavy bags, although realised we could of parked outside later and dropped them off! Saw very little view from a small high window on the top floor. Furniture...

We stumbled across this little gem whilst sightseeing around Cornwall. The views across the bay are spectacular. Comfortable rooms, warm and clean. The owner has great local knowledge which was a real benefit as this was our first visit to Port Isaac. Will definitely return.
