This was a late booking with Shearings for a 5 day break, we paid the supplement for a sea view room. On arrival the head receptionist was lovely & check in very quick

Hello Diane. Yes you can get about by bus. There are small white buses also the double decker's which will take you further afield on the bend just down from the hotel. We found the bus service handy and they had one or two staff members offering advice where to get to on the small bus.
You also have a small train branch line which will get you out of st Ives in 12 minutes. This is just below the hotel next to a car park.

Or you can contact the hotel a few days before arrival and we can arrange if possible. There aren't toiletry's in the room however we do have some available from reception if required.
