The Queen's Hotel is a late-Georgian, three-story building in the heart of picturesque St Ives. 5 mins from the harbour and beaches, we have ten en-suite bedrooms, which have been redecorated with vintage furniture and Cornish artwork hanging on the freshly painted walls, plus sparkling new bathrooms with new showers. Downstairs is a relaxed and friendly bar with delicious pub food that has been awarded AA rosettes consistently since 2011. Everything is prepared here - the menu is chalked up on the board and uses the finest local, seasonal ingredients Cornwall has to offer. Favourites include Beef Stew with Dumplings. Local beers. Warming fire. Children are very welcome: a camp bed and a travel cot are available to borrow plus sofa beds, all windows have black-out blinds; downstairs there are boardgames + toys; baby-changing; children's menu. The harbour front and Fore Street are under five minutes walk away. Selected by Alastair Sawdays.

Had a lovely couple of days in this hotel. Gorgeous clean room and friendly staff to boot. Great location in the centre of St Ives with everything on our doorstep. Only gripe was the bathroom door being minus the mortice lock which made privacy a bit of an issue and which needs fixing and the lack of parking in St Ives which the hotel is not responsible for but which was a bit of a challenge to say the least.....! Would definitely return again. Thank you!

Good atmosphere and friendly staff , only had drinks but the drinks were on form. The prices were reasonable and the barman was helpful when asked for some information on where the local ATMs were. Was family friendly. Would recommend a visit.

The Queens Hotel provides you with comfort, convenience and enjoyment. Located 5 minutes (walk) from the most popular beaches in St Ives. Every main local attraction is within walking distance from this hotel. My girlfriend and i stayed here for four nights. Our stay also included breakfast (full English along with some continental selections), the perfect way to start the day! Whilst we didn't eat at the hotel (in the evening) we did spend some time at the bar. There is (as there is in most of the bars at St Ives) a great selection of local beers, ciders and spirits. Staff are so welcoming and accommodating of your needs, the really do make you feel at home. Our room was superb and incredibly spacious and comfortable, and despite overlooking a main street it was surprisingly quiet. There is no parking available around the hotel. I would advise that you park outside of the town centre and either walk, taxi or bus it down to the main centre. We used (and paid for) a private car park on a private property. There are car parks in the centre of St Ives but you'll end up paying large prices to leave your car here for the duration of your stay. If you are looking for a hotel that provides, enjoyment, convenience and comfort then look no further than The Queens!

Bit concerned about the parking situation as we will have 2 kids with us, mid August. Any suggestions appreciated.
Where do people park?
stivescarpark website. - we booked a space, arrived to find a secure car park where our car had it's own bay. A 2 min drive to town, the taxi dropped us off and collected us when we were going home. Really easy when you have cases etc! We did not need our car in st Ives, the roads too small/busy and no where to park anyway, this was hassle free, car protected in secure compound with CCTV. Hope this helps. Linda
