We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights in September. This is a really conveniently placed hotel, near the bus and rail stations, and only a short walk down to the beach or into town. The owners, Keith and Sandy, were extremely friendly and helpful, and made our holiday very enjoyable and relaxed. Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view over the harbour and sea. There was a very good choice at breakfast and food is freshly cooked. We can't rate this hotel highly enough. We will certainly stay there again for another visit to the delightful seaside resort of St Ives.…
A big thanks to Mr keith, lovely gentleman who let us put our bags in his hotel although we were not customers! We spent a lovely day around thanks to you. he didn' charge us anything and he was really polite. Grazie
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at the Regent and could not have been happier. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from the train station, right next to the bus stop, and a short walk from the waterfront and commercial area. Our room was very comfortable and had an outstanding view of the harbor. Breakfast was ample with several great choices. The proprietors, Sandi and Keith, were very warm and helpful. We were also interested to learn of the hotels interesting history, as it was the HQ for Omar Bradley, I believe, before D-Day. Very glad we found this place and recommend it highly.…
We arrived on our bikes after camping for almost 4 weeks. The bikes were stored safely away and Sandi immediately offered to wash our damp and smelly clothes. The room was spotless with a magnificent view. Breakfast had everything you could wish to eat first thing, and more. Back on our bikes, clean and refreshed. Thank you for your hospitality. …
We dropped in on The Regent later in the afternoon, looking for a last minute place to stay. Sandi was very friendly and patient (I had to keep ducking out to the car to converse with my husband) on reception and was able to accommodate our family. The rooms were not the biggest we have stayed in however they were clean and comfortable. The view from the hotel was amazing and we enjoyed being able to open the window to allow the sea breeze into the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast which allowed us many options to choose from and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I had whilst on holidays. We would stay here again.…
