The hotel is not outstanding in any particular way. Our room was spotless and well cared for. The size was fine and ensuite facilities were excellent. Keep your wits about you. The showers are not intuitive and you need to adjust the radiators and switch on towel rails... yes I know it's simple but you need to do it yourself.... More

I booked this hotel after seeing many good reviews expecting a decent if not great long weekend with my wife. To say we were greatly disapointed is an understatement. When we arrived we were shown to a twin room even though we booked and paid extra for a double with a sea view, the staff were courteous but ultimately unhelpful... More

I enjoyed my stay here so much last year that I returned for a Guided Walking Holiday. Las year I came as a tourist having recently recovered rom Pneumonia. This HF house and annex feels well loved by the staff and residents. Comfortable lounge bar and dining room. Immaculate Boot Room washing facilities and drying room. Staff all attentive and... More

Makes a big fuss about its food. Frankly, it's under seasoned but pretty reasonable. Rooms...well...OK; poor wifi, bad soundproofing. Clean, good size. Breakfasts. Hmmmm....OK... they've chosen local produce, but quality isn't good. The Assistant Manager has the wrong attitude. Everything is turned back on the client. It's not about you... That being said, the VFM's good.

This hotel is part of the Holiday Fellowship group and as such is centered around walkers. We stayed for a week as part of a guided walking holiday but you do not have to be part of these. The facilities were excellent with rooms of a very good standard and a very helpful and friendly staff. There was entertainment each... More

I stayed here Sat 20 - 27 August 2016 as part of a walking group. I was impressed that my single room (no 7) was a decent size and had a good sea-view, though I had requested it after booking. bedroom had a flat screen tv and plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. En-suite bathroom was shower only, not a... More

Just 10 minutes from St Ives train station by foot. A warm welcome and I was shown to my room, a double with ensure and a fabulous sea view. Lots of wardrobe and cupboard space. The staff are just brilliant and so keen to help. Dinner was delicious- a buffet dinner for our first night, soup, lasagne and a lemon... More

Enjoyed a week long stay at Chy Morvah as part of HF Walking Group. Location of hotel is great - close enough to walk into town, but out enough not to be caught up too much in the hustle and bustle. Parking on site. Hotel clean and food great. Staff were very helpful and eager to please. Will definitely go... More

Not particularly easy to find but it does have limited parking spaces which is a boon in this very cramped seaside resorts town.Sadly only one room had a private bath - all others had showers - although I was told there was a communal bath, not good as I had requested a room with a bath and my request seemed...
