This hotel has attentive, polite and welcoming staff. The location is very central. Great views from the hotel bar. Spotlessly clean throughout. The food is very good with lots of choice at breakfast, good quality produce. The only negative views of the hotel were that the matress/bed needed updating and although the room was great value for money it was...

We stayed here for one night recently, and overall it was an OK hotel. The breakfast was great - we ordered off the menu and it was nicely presented, fresh and very tasty. The buffet also looked good, with all all the usual bits, and good quality. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was OK, a decent size and...

The room you booked is a ‘partial sea view room’ and yes it is directly on the front of the hotel to which I appreciate other guests approach the hotel via the path directly in front of the door. The ‘partial view’ is over the front lawn & small car park out towards the bay looking over towards Godrevey and...

Myself and my partner stayed here for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it! Perfect location and friendly staff. Can I also say that the gentleman (who's name I believe was chris , however forgive me if I am wrong,) his service in the bistro was exceptional. Brilliant manner and always a great delight to chat to. Definitely will be...

Considering we paid a very reasonable price for this hotel I'm no complaining. The hotel was quite tired in terms of decor and fixtures, but it was reasonably clean (apart from the top of the wardrobe!). Also the TV (v small) was loose on its bracket so hard to see it. No room to swing a cat in the bathroom!...

It disappoints me that you found our hotel ‘quite tired in terms of décor & fixtures’ the hotel is an Edwardian building and so decorated within keeping of its period. We are at the end of our winter decorating/refurbishing program, that has seen fresh painted walls, ceilings, doors etc. throughout the whole hotel and new duvets & pillows in every...
