    The Pedn Olva, with the sea only thirty feet below and flanked by golden sands, is founded on blue-black granite rocks on the southern shores of St. Ives Harbour and Bay. Contemporary, romantic and breathtaking are but a few ways to describe the Pedn Olva, with its 30 distinctive bedrooms, restaurant, bar, terraces and outdoor heated swimming pool that make it an ideal stay for a getaway break, special meal or relaxing lunch. The plethora of windows facing the sea allows our guests to be as close as you can get to floating on the sea without leaving dry land. A safe haven for watching winter storms in front of a granite open fire, or seeing dolphins and seals playing in the bay from our sun drenched terraces.

    2nd visit to Pedn Olva and yet to be disappointed stunning views on the beach for Breakfast ,view from the rooms in my opinion 2nd to none, The bar area looking out over St Ives is superb , location is excellent make sure you buy the car park pass it make life so much easier

    This restaurant has an excellent location with sea views, really helpful staff. We chose chick pea fritters, big mistake mashed can of chick peas formed into fritters with no added flavor should have had some spice or herbs, should also have been fried to give taste and texture. The salad on the plate should have had a decent dressing not a splash of oil. I wash the chef or restaurant manager would taste the food in order to make eating out special not expensive mediocrity.…

    You couldn't ask for a better location in St. Ives in my opinion. Every room has an ocean view though I am not sure if every room has an outside terrace as we had in room 33. From our terrace you could see both the ocean and St. Ives which we enjoyed very much. The property was very clean and well kept and everyone on the staff was very helpful and professional. I have to mention Nathan since he was very helpful multiple times, I bagan to suspect he was part of a set of triplets as it seemed no matter where I went he was working there, fine job. One tip, if you are like us and try to plan a spot to do laundry during the trip this hotel offers a very inexpensive option to wash and tumble dry your clothes. We didn't get to try the pool becasue of the weather but looks very nice with a great view of the beach. Breakfast was very good, dinner fair but once again excellent service. Would reccomend and would stay again.…

    Did not stay here but has lunch here a couple of times great restaurant with a very comfortable seating area a lovely varied menu with great tasting food a good and varied drinks selection and above all the best views while you eat any where in St.Ives

    One of the nicest places to spend a sunny afternoon relaxing. On the terrace, you have an amazing view on the sea and St.Ives.     We are checked in for Tuesday 20th March 2018 and would like to visit the jazz club that evening. What is the earliest we would be able to dine in the restaurant that night?
    12 noon to 6pm x we have eaten at 4 o clock before wonderful views over the harbour .
