Very clean room, very helpful staff they couldn't be polite. The breakfast was extremely good and the sausages were my particular favorite. Good value for money. Would definately stay here again amd would recommend.

This was not one of my better selections. First, the good features. It's Clean, though our room was small by comparison to most modern, US motel rooms and other English hotels we've recently booked. Furnishings were just barely adequate, as was the bed. The English Breakfast and service were very good; but we didn't try the attached pub and restaurant....

This is an old style English hotel with character. We stayed in a three person room and it was very comfortable and clean. Great location but terrible for parking. We ended up parking up the hill in the council car park, add another 7 pounds for the night if you are driving. In high season this town would be impossible...

Good Sunday lunch with the family, catering for everyone including elderly and vegetarian. Choice of meat and gluten free options (including gravy) included without any bother. Friendly staff, prompt service. Definitely family friendly. Not fine dining, but just what you would expect from a family friendly environment. No loud music which was handy as some of our party were a...

If you want somewhere affordable, clean and comfortable this is the place for you. I was quite apprehensive at first as the rooms look dated in the pictures on the website, but we went ahead with it as it was so cheap! When we got there our room was so much nicer than the pictures with a large wooden framed...

Great location 5 mins walk to harbour and beach and close to art galleries. Small welcoming hotel, helpful people and great cooked to order breakfast. Loads of great restaurants including the next door BYO Indian Rajpoot and the Firehouse bar and Grill, Fore Street, with views over the harbour. Service and food excellent at both restuarants.

Our room was small & newly refurbished & was done well. Public areas are slowly being updated. Staff all excellent. Friendly, informal & good at what they do. They appear to be a good team. Breakfast & Sunday carvery good & good value. Great location in centre of town meant we left car in top leisure centre car park (download...

We stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter Weekend. The hotel is located only a few minutes walk from the sea in the centre of town so great location. The hotel also has a pub attached that does live music most evenings which is a good thing but if you're a light sleeper best to ask for a room...

Went here with a few friends for a night out and were made very welcome by the owner Alan & his charming wife. We had a good night mixing with the locals & having a good laugh, we then had some sandwiches & chips put on the bar to help ourselves, a nice touch towards the end of a very...

Stayed with my husband and teenage daughter for one night. The location was super and in the middle of town, but mind that you need to park away about 5min walk. You need coins to pay or a parking app. Tiny hotel, and be prepared to carry your luggage in stairs. Rooms were large, nice and clean, but the hotel...
