We stayed a couple of nights as part of our Honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it. We arrived earlier than expected and were greeted by Malcolm and Kirsty with a genuine and warm welcome. They went out of their way to rearrange the staff cars so that we could park, even though we were a few hours early arriving....

This was our first time staying at The Blue Hayes Hotel and were not disappointed in the slightest. From the warmest greeting to the fondest farewell Malcolm and his team provided a first class experience, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel was decorated to a very high standard with the contrasting colours portraying a beach sea...

We have just returned from another amazing visit to St Ives staying at Blue Hayes. Just looking out of the window across to Godrevy lighthouse makes you feel like paradise. We are always looking forward to the wonderful breakfast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy three times on the terrace. The hotel now has great sitting areas dotted outside,...

We spent a night in the master suite on our honeymoon recently and all we can say is wow- what a place! From the moment we arrived staff were incredible, personal and attentive, they greeted us by name ("you must be mr and mrs stone...?" as we stepped out of the car) and we arrived to a personalised card and...

Everything was perfect at Blue Hayes. And "perfect" is the right word. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Malcolm and his team are fantastic and made our Easter week-end a real joy. Everyone is always ready to help if needed. The hotel itself is spot on, in a beautiful "colour sand" decoration. Whatever where your eyes look,...

Stayed here over Easter weekend. The owner is fab and so are staff they made you feel really at home. Great sea view and breakfast was amazing. Would highly recomend. One thing that could change is time of breakfast instead of 8.30 7.30 would be better. Other than that a fab place to stay.

It's hard to get things right and much harder to keep getting them right! Malcolm's team clearly like working at Blue Hayes and transmit their own sense of well being to their guests and their work. Malcolm himself is as enthusiastic and positive as when we met him a decade ago - he takes such pride in getting things right...

From the moment you step into the Blue Hayes you sense something special. Malcolm greets you with his affable smile and a cup of tea is ready within minutes. The decor subtly augments the sand and sea as if you are already savouring the infamous majestic light of St Ives. All the rooms are of top quality with views that...

Blue Hayes is a small but well-appointed hotel that really looks after its guests. The rooms and public areas are both comfortable and meticulously maintained. It is obvious that Malcolm, the owner, is very much focussed on providing the best possible guest experience and this ethos is shared by all of his staff. The terrace area at the rear of...
