Mark & Fenella Smith are the most amazing hosts. This beautiful boutique hotel is situated in a fantastic location. The hotel surpasses all on their approach to hospitality. The walk into St.Ives is along the coast and views are divine. Thank you Mark and Fenella for 3 days of luxury and relaxation.

When my wife told me she had booked a bed and breakfast for the price here, I have to admit I was astonished. However, when looking around at hotels and other establishments I realised that the going rate in Cornwall is naturally quite high. In fact the price was a snip, given the service and the quality, and I very... More

This was my birthday treat from my two sisters and what a treat. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Fenella & Mark. I was shown to the Net Loft which is beautifully decorated, comfortable with extra special details and spotlessly clean. White fluffy towels, bathrobes, great lighting, mini fridge with cooled water & fresh milk for... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for my boyfriends 30th birthday! Had the best time! Such a fabulous place. We stayed in two different rooms, both beautifully decorated with calming colours, wonderful bathrooms and such comfy beds! Breakfast was fantastic, full tummies every morning!! We will most definitely be back again! Thanks Mark, Fenella and lovely waitress (I didn't catch... More

This is a very convenient location for St Ives (travel one stop on the train for £1 to save trying to park! Or take the lovely coast path. Mark and Fenella and their staff are very friendly, helpful and have a superb attention to detail. Our room (Sennen) had a lovely sea view over the rooftops, the other rooms occupied... More

We love St Ives and Gwithian so this couldn't be better located , as it's right between them. Train goes to St Ives every 30 minutes or so, St Ives is the next stop. Carbis Bay has its own beach but the much bigger and quieter Gwithian beaches are a short drive away. Lovely room and breakfast. Recommend.

We stayed here for 4 nights as an anniversary treat and just had the best time. The beds were comfy, the breakfasts were outstanding and the helpful service from our hosts help make the most of our stay in Cornwall. The hosts are clearly in love with what they do and are excellent at it. They are so warm and... More

A truly wonderful visit to this gorgeous B&B. Mark and Fenella are wonderful hosts and made every attempt to cater for our needs and make us feel 'at home'. Their hard work for this lovely B&B is admirable and I honestly cannot fault it. I think it's great to support business' like this one where the owners are visibly working... More

Sadly only managed to secure a one night booking as the Headland House as was fully booked for the rest of our time in Cornwall. Our one night of excellent service, tranquil setting and a room ( The Net Loft) that offered well thought out design and sumptuous fittings we really wish we could have stayed longer. Mark, Fenella and... More

We stayed at The Headland House for our minimoon. It's located in pretty Carbis Be ay, about a 30 minute amble along the coast to St Ives. The B&B was very pretty from the outside, with plenty of parking. Our room, The Boathouse was spacious and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. We'd been left a bottle of prosecco... More
