Lovely meal even though we arrived later in the evening, there was live music. Very good value for money, 2 meals and a free bottle of wine. Friendly staff. Lots of history - was used in Raising The titanic film.

We stayed at The Sloop for a long weekend break and had a brilliant time. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was The Boatmans with a great view of the harbour. Clean and tidy (not a large room but big enough) comfortable bed with en- suite shower room. Breakfast served every morning in the room with a...

Stopped here for lunch on a heaving sunny day! We were lucky to find a table outside with our 2 Labradors. The food came quickly and was delicious!! Both my husband and I had the Steak Pie and chips and we finished the lot! :)

We went on a Friday and ended up going back on the Saturday. your in for a treat if Bob Love is live with his guitar. A great place with a warming atmosphere. All the staff are friendly. I would highly recommend the fillet steak if the pennies can stretch that far! The ale is good and the cider is...

Great beer, friendly staff and good food but absolutely heaving on a cold but sunny Saturday. Hard to find a seat, don't sit near the door as no one closes it and the gents is just outside. A good place for lunch if you can get a decent seat.

Visited this pub several times. The Jail beer which is St Austell brewery is a really good pint. This pub is very popular it overlooks St Ives Harbour. There are seats outside where you can sit and admire the view. Plenty of seating inside also.It really is great. The staff are friendly haven't eaten here but all the food served...

Met several family and friends for dinner and drinks the day before a family wedding. Dined in Captain's Table upstairs. Great food and service, extensive menu. Mind the low ceilings! After, down to the pub for classic (but crowded) pub experience. Great service, nice selection of beverages.

Great food, reasonably priced. Loved the mackerel pate and pollock. Friendly helpful staff...and great location on the quayside. Only criticism is the large number of people (including locals/off duty staff) who stand drinking smoking in the doorway...unpleasant to walk through... And I really don't appreciate dirty looks every time I walked through...simply rude and inconsiderate.
