I've stayed in the Sloop many times over about 20 years. Twice so far this year. It's got better and better. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, magnificent location, decent rooms, excellent breakfast. I highly recommend it.

Another great stay at The Sloop Inn, St Ives, Cornwall. Stayed in the captain's cabin and captain's courtyard, two lovely apartments with breakfast at the captain's table over the sloop inn. Everything you need for a short break and staying for 3 nights but paying only for 2! Courteous and very friendly staff. Now open Upper Deck and bar which...

Popped in on a wild and very windy Sunday in St Ives. Even though The Sloop is a small pub it was busy enough to generate a good atmosphere. Low ceilings and wooden beams predominate with dim lighting, and paintings by local artists are numerous and hang from the walls, making The Sloop a rather pleasant place to be in...

What a great place to visit, food was great and this inn has a real feel of what it would be like to live back in the old days. Right on the harbour front our grandaughters loved every minute and the staff were real friendly to arrrrh

Weekend in St. Ives. Was recommended this traditional pub for food. We had the steak meal for two with the free bottle of wine. It didn't disappoint. Great meal, fabulous value for money and live music that added to the great atmosphere at this 700 year old pub. Would return.

Upon our arrival for about the fifth visit while staying in Stives, a place we visit at least three times a year, and a pub we have supported over the 24 years we have been visiting, I cannot believe how rude a couple of members of staff got with regards to our child's pushchair that is a really small collapsible...

We visited this pub many times during our week long stay. The weather was so good that we only sat in the garden to the front which overlooks the harbour. Plenty of seating on offer, albeit always full as it is clearly one of the few places you can sit out by the harbour. You can eat outside and food...

Great food - mussels, burgers and ribs to name a few - very quick service too. Atmosphere brilliant - takes you back in time - a real feel of the pirate times and fishermen of the past. Great selection of ales, beers, and spirits Dog friendly

Visited yesterday it was packed with both people and dogs. We opted to eat inside as the dogs were allowed in and as outside was just so busy. Can't fault a thing other then the service was a little slow to begin with but once we placed our orders the food and drinks came quickly. My crab sandwhich was open...

My wife and I and our friends and dog visited the Sloop Inn on the evening of Tuesday 8th February just after 7pm. We visited the pub part as the Captains Table upstairs restaurant does not allow dogs. However the pub seating was cozy with a mix of benches and tables. We sat at the end of the pub and...
