Having stayed at the St Enocdoc in the Rock during the first part of our Cornwall trip in August, the Roundhouse Barn is a big contrast but a very plesant surprise too. Although the double room we had is a lot smaller than the room at the St Enocdoc, but the Roundhouse is indeed a B&B and not a large...

I can only endorse what other reviewers have said.( You may not be able to walk to a pub, but you can walk to the nearby coast in 15 mins & to St. Just church in an hour.) This really is a top class B&B. We found the food at The Watch House very good.

We stayed in 'The Fal' room. and everything about it was indeed 5 star. This bedroom is very well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches - right down to the 2 comfy chairs and silent fridge, containing complimentary water and juices. The en-suite bathroom is large with a wonderful shower. Breakfasts were a delight. We stayed in Cockle Cottage last...

We booked The Carthouse for two weeks. The cottage, Barbara and Mark fullfilled our every need. The cream tea was delicious as were the Cornish tea bags. The cottage was spotless and spacious, with everything we needed from untensils in the kitchen to dvds, guidebooks and maps. We had no problem staying 2 weeks, there was no cabin fever on...

We stayed in the B&B last year and booked one of the SC barns for this year. We stayed in The Carthouse which we absolutely loved. Beautiful decor, spacious and every detail thought of - even games to play on those rainy days (yes, even in Cornwall in summer!). Our daughter stayed in the B&B again this year and is...

We stayed in the Dairy cottage and it was wonderful in so many ways. A great welcome from the owners and after a long drive it is great to walk into such a superbly equipped cottage. It was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard with lots of those little extra touches that mean so much. It is...

Stayed here in July 2011 for a friend's wedding near St Mawes. It was a lovely place to stay. There was a bit of confusion around our reservation, as we had booked two rooms but only one room was available- however the owners more than made up for this with their helpfullness and accomadation. The beds were so so comfortable...

We had a 2 night mid-week stay in the Fal Room (King Size or twin). Room was lovely, bathroom fab with overhead 'drench' shower---no bath. White waffle robes, mini-fridge with water and fruit juices (complementary) and fresh milk in a jug (bliss!). Coffee grounds in sealed bags (including decaff) and a caffetiere in bedroom. TV, DVD, books and films in...

Barbara and Mark's Roundhouse Barn Bed and Breakfast is more like staying in a 5 star hotel. From the offer of tea, coffee or glass of wine on arrival, to the beautifully appointed rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds, thick fluffy towels in the bathroom, to the excellent breakfast - everything is exceptionally good. The setting - a converted barnhouse with lovely...
