We were welcomed with a glass of Pimms for me and a Scotch for him. Time and Amelia were fantastic hosts with lots of local knowledge. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast delicious. Wonderful sea side stay with great walks.

The last B&B on our Looe to Falmouth walk. The location is easy to find, we had coffee after getting off the Place to St Mawes ferry and double checked with the waiter how gave the similar directions and informed us that Nearwater was a 'high end stay'. Met Amelia on arrival who is a fantastic host. Excellent introduction to...

After the great reviews, it seemed the natural choice for a quick stopover for a work trip. Felt at home immediately after Amelia welcomed me in and served a proper cup of tea - musto the dog was very friendly too! The accommodation, breakfast and attention to detail was 5 star. I really hope to re visit the beautiful area...

Great location to explore the perfect area of St Mawes. We took the self catering option and were rewarded with a perfect week. Your hosts are great for all information on the area and treat you with careful consideration if you wish an undisturbed stay Their little dog is like a shuffling duster (no offence please) but I gradually got...

This was our first visit to St Mawes and this was very much enhanced by the comfort and style of Nearwater and the helpful local knowledge readily shared by the owners. Breakfasts were excellent. Wonderful fragrant gardens to enjoy when having some afternoon tea.

Lovely B&B, good location for St Mawes and exploring the Roseland. We only stayed one night, in the Percuil Room which was immaculate with a very comfortable bed. Clearly Amelia is passionate about the area and brimming with ideas of how to spend time. Probably a little on the expensive side, but having seen other local prices this is the...

Judging by the deficits and style this is a lovely place. I booked in two guests as our booked holiday home nearby is full. Unfortunately I had to cancel as their plans changed but Tim was very understanding and it was not problem. I hope to be able to stay there in the future.

An upmarket B&B which is reflected in the price but is worth paying! Rooms sparkling clean, bed linen crisp white and proper feather pillows and duvets. Good power on the shower. Room small but made up for by the fully equipped guest lounge, although this might get a little crowded if more people were in it. Delicious breakfast with homemade...

We stayed in 'Trefusis' the self catering pad in Nearwater, which was just excellent. Yes, it's compact, but plenty of room for two people and beautifully designed and fitted out. Nearwater is a great location, just a 10 minute walk along the seafront to the main village - and what a walk! Stunning at any time of the day or...
