Braganza is set in its own gardens with clear views of St Mawes Harbour and to the sea beyond. In the distance is The Lizard Point. St Mawes is a 35 minute passenger ferry trip across the "Carrick Roads" a busy stretch of water to Falmouth. St Mawes is all about the sea! Braganza has a beautiful, timeless elegance which...

I loved staying st Braganza! The views are spectacular, the rooms cozy and well appointed, the breakfast divine and Krysia is a wonderful hostess. Braganza has a wonderful presence about it, full of family history and memories. And everywhere one turns, there's another interesting painting or photograph to study and take in. I highly recommend Braganza.

We arrived by the St Mawes ferry and so had a view of the place as we crossed the harbour. Travelling everywhere by public transport it is difficult to fit into 'check in times' but we were easily able to leave our luggage and head off to enjoy the village for the day. The garden is beautiful and very relaxing...

As you drive into the grounds of Braganza, the view over St Mawes harbour is breathtaking. Krysia is a welcoming, accommodating host, as friendly to my two little dogs as she was to me. Braganza is a beautiful Georgian home and the antithesis of the sterile Travelodge-type hotel that is so ubiquitous these days. However it manages to be the...

This was a wonderful place to stay. We took all the bedrooms for a family wedding and found it extremely comfortable. Krysia was a marvelous host, going out of her way to be accommodating, and was particularly helpful with elderly grandparents. Breakfast was exceptionally good - all our favourite things.

We had a really refreshing break for two days. The house is impressive, immaculate and extremely welcoming. K was a very gracious and pleasant hostess and helped us out of a bit of a problem when we had to unexpectedly stay another night. I really cant do the house, its gardens and the view justices with words - go there...

Spent a perfect break at this wonderful B & B with the very best views in St. Mawes. Krysia was very gracious, and extremely helpful and knowlegeable about the area. Our room, albeit not overlooking the harbour, was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We hope to return very soon!

This was our third night stay when touring Cornwall by bike in the middle of June. Braganza is full of character, on top of a steep hill, with stunning views, and a fantastic garden! The room we had was located at the back of the house. It was large, had a nice bathroom and was very quiet. The breakfast was...

A beautiful and very characterful place to stay in St Mawe's, with wonderful views across the harbour. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished, but the en suite shower room was a little cramped. We were able to make use of a separate bathroom, though, which was much appreciated.

We stayed two nights in this wonderful spot amid its beautiful surroundings. Krysia is charming, helpful and truly accommodating. She knows all that is in St M, where to eat, go, visit, but above all is fun. Her character and sense of history are reflected in this classical Georgian building. Plumbing is a bit antiquated admitedlly and the steep slopes...
