It's worth a visit to see the money lavishly spent restoring the hotel by the maplin family. Drive into the car park and there's an Aston Martin wrapped in floral design by the artist Tom Stourton with his artwork throughout the building. Pick up a copy of the camelot newspaper and it has a who's who of who has visited...

We wanted a dog holiday. The only good things I can say about our mini break is that the hotel is dog friendly and the staff were pleasant. It was also a reasonable priced break for 3 nights. However, our room was tiny and above the kitchen which meant it was so hot and we hardly got any sleep on...

This hotel must have the best views in Cornwall, great location for Padstow, Newquay, Bude. Staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you, food is good in hotel if slightly pricey. Very dog friendly. They are refurbishing all of the rooms on an ongoing basis so some are a bit dated but still clean and warm. Will definitely return.

Well worth a visit to the Camelot Castle Hotel whilst visiting Tintagel. Lovely place to sit overlooking the bay enjoying some refreshments and enjoying the sea views. There is also so much to see at Tintagel, ample parking, plenty of shops, restaurants etc. go see for yourself you will not be disappointed.

It wasn't great weather but we arrived in Tintagel too early for lunch, but just right for a coffee. Don't be put off by thinking that such a grand place won't just serve coffee because it does, wonderfully. Park up, walk under the porch and through the amazing revolving mahogany doors. You are greeted by a neon sign that is...
