The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-presented and everything had a classy look. The tiny courtyard was charming. Breakfast was good, and the home made jam as a nice touch. Car parking is tight as it appears to be all over Exeter. I will use it again.

We stayed at the Telstar for one night only. I had booked a family room in the hope of getting a large room but when we got the keys to our room the room was divided into a configuration of a single room and double room which shared a bathroom. I did not request to be moved as the 'no...

I chose Telstar for a one night stay, as I work in a job where we are required to look for the cheapest options. This can mean that the places I stay are of a fairly low standard. I am pleased to say that the Telstar does not fit that category as whilst the cost is not high, the value...

I opted for the very small ensuite room as I was only there for one night. Yes, it was small but the bed was fine and the shower spacious. Very helpful staff, parking well organised - a boon in Exeter - and breakfast very tasty. I'd stay again and if it's busy and parking is a problem don't forget there...

Ideal city centre location with the most pleasant staff we have encountered on our travels. A very comfortable stay with a strong dedication to the environment, recycling and consideration for the well being of our planet. The breakfast was excellent, we have already booked our return visit

The Telstar location is very handy to the city centre, a five to eight minute walk away, so use of a car is not essential. Bus and rail stops are nearby too. The staff at the the Telstar are very amenable and helpful in every way. Limited Parking for cars is at the rear. The Hotel claims a four star...

What a hidden gem this hotel is! From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't of been more accommodating and helpful. We had booked a family room for one night to celebrate our son's 21st birthday who is a student of Exeter University. The hotel is quirky and beautifully decorated. The room was clean and was a good size. Ann...

I recently stayed at the Telstar for two nights as a part of a small group tour. The room was clean and organised, with desk, wardrobe, television, ensuite bathroom etc. There were tea and coffee facilities in your room if desired. The kitchen/ dining room is gorgeous and the breakfast is delicious. It really had character. It was easy walking...

Visited Telstar on University visit to Exeter; it is centrally located and handy for the task. My two six foot sons and myself shared a room which was a little small for the task but adequate, plus we had been offered a bigger room, so that was good. The third bed was an OK put you up. I like the...
