My Partner had stayed here before whilst doing a weekend course at Exeter University and was keen to introduce me to this "fabulous place" (her words!). She was, as usual, spot on in her assessment and we enjoyed our stay here from start to finish. Room incl. bathroom immaculately clean and thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast each morning. Overall hospitality...

I spent a week on Exeter, due to my work and I happened to find Lower Pottles by googling « bed & breakfast ». It was the best idea of the day. The week was really stressful but thanks to Susie, Georges, their smile and their farm, everything was ok. My room was spacious and very well furnished, the bathroom...

Our room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. When we arrived we were greeted by Sue who showed us our room (the red room) and offered us a cup of tea which she produced along with some delicious homemade fairy cakes. Indeed, every day we went out we were given cakes to take with us. The room was clean with...

Choose lower Pottles as they were dog friendly, but dog walks were poor and our Jack Russell was extremely unhappy throughout the visit, think Otto was too overbearing. Room OK, shower excellent as was breakfast. Recommendations for evening meals were excellent.

The title says it all - what more could you want. We arrived in the afternoon and were welcomed with a fresh cup of tea and coffee in the lounge breakfast room, which was large and airy and overlooked the garden. The room also had a large open fire, which would be ideal on a cold winter's day, but not...

I would agree with everything that has already been said about this place. There was a really warm welcome, we were offered tea, coffee, beer or wine on arrival and bread was put on for our breakfast. We had the front room which overlooked the chickens and horses, pigs and cattle were kept up the road. Two lovely dogs were...

Beautiful room, excellent bathrrom, peaceful and greeted with tea and bun each day was the icing on the cake. The suggested places to eat in the evening were very good value for money. Organic ham, eggs and sausages are home grown with a taste second to none.

We have just returned from a 5 nighr stay at Lower Pottles with our two dogs. we were greeted on our (later than planned) arrival by Sue who offered us a drink with chocolate cake. Our room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated - the room is decorated and fitted up to the standard of the house and not down...
