We wanted to break our journey on the way further south and found this great Grade 2 listed farmhouse just 8 miles from the M5. It is maintained to a very high standard and the room we had (Kingsize bed) was warm and inviting overlooking the beautiful gardens. The village of Wimple is close by with 2 very good pubs. We...

We stayed 1 night en-route to the coast and were very pleased with the room, which was very clean and warm, and the breakfast which was well prepared and of good quality. Awoke to hear the sound of horses and had a peaceful night. There is a slight hum from the motorway, but only if you throw the windows wide...

I have stayed here 3 timeson overnighters. The farmhouse is splendid and worthy of its Grade 2 Listed status, but that hides the comfort inside. Room clean anbd well appointed. Bed comfortable. Location, well off the beaten track but easily reachable from the A303 West of Honiton. Breakfast ... splendid. View outside - form the back bedroom you have the...

On our way to Cornwll we broke our journey here. We very much enjoyed the peaceful environment, rural, quiet, an equine centre with friendly horses peeping over the fences, lots of space and country views. The room was spacious and comfortable. Our hostess Anthea made us feel very welcome, and provided a well cooked breakfast. The location is convenient, not...

We have just stayed at Strete Ralegh Farm and what an absolute pleasure too. The setting is totally rural and around you there are stables and everything else equestrian. Outside our bathroom window there was a fole with its mother and in the bright early morning sunshine, birds singing and rabbits hopping around, you could be forgiven if you thought...

We had such a warm welcome and felt very well looked after throughout our visit. It was wonderful to see swallows whizzing round the farmyard and a horse and foal in the field when we woke up. We will definitely choose to stay here next time we're in the area.

Beautiful farm in quiet countryside, yet just off A30. Very dog friendly: large grassy paddocks to walk dogs in. Delicious farmhouse breakfast with local preserves and a very charming and hospitable hostess.

We both loved staying here. It was lovely being greeted when we arrived. Very friendly and homely. Plenty of choice of food. Room was lovely and big and bright. Excellent facilities. If you had a disability there was a chair lift going up the stairs, which would appeal to anyone who couldn't make the stairs. Would recommend very highly.
