Had a fantastic stay Caroline and Richard made us so welcome. Place was spotless and such lovely little touches with tea coffee cookies etc in your room. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for eight nights while visiting family. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again when back in the UK. We were visiting...

Spent one night here at end of Devon coast to coast. Richard and Caroline were excellent hosts and looked after us very well. They have gone to the trouble of providing a map of the town showing all restaurants, pubs and places of interest and breakfast was excellent. Thank you for an excellent end to our journey.

As stated in my review in May we have just returned from another stay at Fernleigh - this time for 6 nights. Everything was as before, food, accommodation and owners all excellent. We will be returning again in November and have already booked for 2 more breaks next year - I think that says it all!

We stayed for two nights while visiting the area for a job interview. Richard and Caroline gave us a very friendly welcome, and made us feel very much at home. They were helpful and chatty hosts and seemed very concerned that we had a comfortable stay. The room we stayed in (3) had a lovely comfy double bed, a single...

We visited Lynton for a 4 night holiday and really enjoyed our stay at Fernleigh, Richard and Caroline are super hosts and provided us with a very comfortable room and excellent breakfasts. The guest house is in a good location for exploring the area being close to the coastal path and the town centre.

My brother & I stayed here for one night to attend a family funeral nearby. Richard & Caroline welcomed us warmly & showed us to our very well equipped rooms. Mine was a huge triple room with a bath, my brothers was a smaller room with a shower. Beautifully clean with stylish décor, comfortable beds, & every possible extra one...

I stayed here for one night mid-week with some friends whilst on a road trip across Devon. I have never actually stayed in a guest house before (!) and this greatly exceeded all expectations. The couple who own it are so welcoming and friendly and really cannot do enough for you. They seem to have thought of absolutely everything and...

Richard and Caroline were lovely hosts for my six mates and I on our one night stay in Lynton. The room I was in (small twin) was very clean with nice extras like bottles of water, posh biscuits etc! I stayed with my family three nights in this charming B&B and we found everything excellent: the warm welcome and kindness of the owners, the extreme cleanliness of the room and the complete breakfast have all been very satisfactory. The location is perfect to explore the park staying out of the crowd of the beaten track. We suggest it without...
