I think first impressions are very important,on arrival at the Seawood the steps leading up to reception had rubbish bags and clutter to the right hand side of them weeds growing in front of them and old leaves blown up against them this had not just happened it wouldn't have taken much trouble to have the main entrance into the...

We spent three nights here recently. It is an excellent small hotel and the staff are lovely. The breakfasts were top notch and freshly cooked to order. Service was fast. We had a very good dinner on the first night. Could not recommend it more highly. The property is attractively decorated. We noticed the guests ages ranged from young and...

We booked this country house hotel at short notice after deciding not to go abroad - so glad we did as we had great weather and were even able to take the dog at no extra cost. I would have rated this hotel as "excellent" but for a couple of niggles - it was warm and the bed had a...

We were looking for somewhere to stay that had charm and found it in this hotel. Decorated with flair the beautiful old building offers guests comfort, style and wonderful views over the channel. Staff were particularly engaging, creating a delightful ambience. We enjoyed all our meals which were delicious and cooked to order and found the roast lamb on the...

We returned to this hotel having spent our honeymoon there 29 years ago in 1987. The hotel has been renovated tastefully but has still retained its unique character and stye. Located on the cliffs close to the Cliff Railway it is ideally placed to explore both Lynmouth and Lynton. It has changed owners but the service and the food was...

We stayed for two nights in a lovely large double-aspect room with excellent facilities and the most amazing views of the bay and the distant coast of Wales. We felt very comfortable (lovely bed) and were well looked after by the friendly staff. The location is great, being so close to the town. We'd certainly stay here again.

Lovely boutique hotel with wonderful views, friendly staff and fresh food cooked to order. We had lovely large room and a good sized bathroom. This hotel is on the North Walk ( part of the Coastal Path) in Lynton, a no through road so there was no traffic noise at night. We will be returning.
