This hotel is right next to the top of the Lynton and Lynmouth railway and on the costal path to the Valley of the Rocks. We just left the car in the car park and can explore all of the local attractions with ease. The decor is a little dated, but this does not detract, and distinguishes it from a...

The views are lovely from our dual aspect room (photo) and ideal for cliff top walk to valley of the rocks. Plenty of parking and room was clean and good size. Separate room ideal with the kids. Shame about the scaffolding at the front of hotel.

Thank you very much for your lovely review. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately we have had to put up the scaffolding due to unforeseen damage to the roof of the hotel. I am, however, glad to hear it didn’t interrupt your view too much. We are pleased to say it is not a permanent feature...

Fantastic location, room had an amazing view of the sea. The breakfast was very good, you could have cereal form the selection cereals on the table or you could have a cooked full english breakfast (with the option of a vegetarian version, which was delicious!). The hotels garden led to the cliff railway. The hotel was very dog friendly and...

Stayed here for just one night. Hotel has 'tired' decor but is very clean. Our room was small and bed was uncomfortable but the view was fantastic. Breakfast was served quickly and was hot and cooked well. Served by a very pleasant waitress. Lynton and Lynmouth are so pretty and we will visit again. Unlikely to stay at North Cliff...

We booked up at short notice & couldn't have been made more welcome when we arrived & during our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was faultless & the tariff was more than acceptable! A short walk away to Lyton, and a steep, but vigorously pleasurable walk to Lynmouth! Highly recommended to all!

Returned to this lovely hotel after 14 years! Still as beautiful with gorgeous views. The hotel is quiet and relaxed and serve a great breakfast. Our room was large and clean with a good standard of decor. Only improvement would be for the bathroom to be updated...burnt my hand on the taps (lol). Will be returning again...with not so many...
