The location was perfect for visiting Plymouth University and if you are attending graduation at The Hoe, simply a short walk away. It is also close to city center for getting bits as well as transport. Our room was ok and the breakfast served was very nice. Would stay again!

We stayed here for 1 night in April 2014 whilst walking the SWCP. We were booked in by our tour operator and we not sure what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was very spacious with an (relatively) equally roomy en-suite (although not the most modern!). The decor was very smart with several good quality wall decorations... More

This was our second visit and it was better than the first with a much much bigger room this time and without such a climb up flights of stairs. Great location and literally 1 minute walk to the Hoe. Very quiet too and only 10 mins walk to the city centre or 15 minutes to the University which we were... More

Stayed for the weekend a couple of weeks ago with my wife, three kids and our puppy & it was spot on. Had a lovely big room, they didn't realise there was five of us but putting an extra bed in the room was no problem at all. Helen and her staff were really nice and friendly, breakfast was superb... We had a twin room but it was at the very top of the hotel and for some would be a hike. There isn't a lift. There was a warm welcome and the room although rather small was immaculate and had clearly just been redecorated. Breakfast was nice and piping hot and served with a smile. Excellent quiet (except for... More

Reception rather cool and lacking in enthusiasm. Duvets much too thick for end of June. Curtains could do with some form of blackout unless you enjoy an early morning! Delightful young lady in the breakfast room who was way and away the most cheerful member of staff that we met!

A warm welcome and very comfortable room ensured an excellent stay at the Camelot. The tasty breakfast of a wide range of juices, hot drinks, cereals or full English was served by attentive and considerate staff. I would highly recommended the Camelot to fellow travellers!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed and it stays consistently good. The room had been updated since we last stayed. It was clean airy and light. The only thing letting it down was a lack of drawer space. But as we only stayed 2 nights it wasn't a major issue. We would definitely stay again.
