Excellent location, great staff, and a swimming pool to keep the kids happy. Very good value for money and makes life easy to get to the Hoe and historic waterfront and its cafes etc. Room a little tired and bath very slow draining, but small things all considered.

Had a 2-night stay to explore Plymouth. The rooms and the hotel are a bit dated, but it is undergoing a refurbishment in 2017 so hopefully that will be put right. Rooms are a good size, bathrooms a bit small. With a shower in a small bath I find it all too cramped a little dangerous. Please provide shower rooms...

Stayed 3 nights in an executive room, which was excellent. A very spacious room with king bed and sitting area looking out to sea. Plenty of drawer space and hanging space for clothes. Clean and tidy. Breakfast and meals are taken on the top floor which were very acceptable by way of quality and service. Public areas are spacious and...

I stayed with friends for 2 nights in the Holiday Inn hotel in Plymouth in december 2016, just before christmas. The hotel is located nearby the seafront and you have a marvelous view from the top, in the room where the breakfast is served. Our room (a double room with 2 separate beds) was huge and very clean. The staff...

Located near both Plymouth Hoe and the city centre, this is an attractive and comfortable hotel. I have stayed many times for business and leisure. The Atlantic ocean is viewable from many of the hotel rooms and penthouse restaurant. There are many bars and restaurants nearby of good quality. The war memorials near the Hoe are also close. The pool...

Really pleasantly surprised by the experience. This hotel has had and is having a refurbishment programme that will pay great dividends. No longer dowdy the room was good and the views over Plymouth excellent. I would have no hesitation staying there again. Car park was an effort though and I wouldn't recommend that navigation experience with a large car.

Had a business trip to Plymouth , nice enough place but rather like stepping back in time. Nothing wrong with that just a surprise. This applies to the Holiday Inn. nice enough hotel , clean has all that you need , staff generally very professional location pretty good. But (has to be I am afraid) needs a massive revamp. Which...

This hotel is very well located with the important sites of historical Plymouth with in walking distance. I found my room functional but rather dated and austere. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotless. You must watch the tub side height though – much higher than we are used to in North America. One lady on...
