A pleasant guest house within 1 minute walk of the Ho, and also a gentle walk into Plymouth centre. The landlady, Jan is very welcoming without being over-bearing and the breakfast was fine, with plenty of choice. You do need to be prepared to pay for parking and we had not realised until we arrived that Jan can sell you...

We had a nice stay and Jan was very accommodating with our bikes, we emailed ahead and she let us store them in the garden. Room was well stocked with tea and coffee. She also catered for dairy free and veggie breakfasts. Thank you.

We had a lovely welcome and we were delightfully hosted throughout our stay. The family room (room 6) was great for travelling with little ones with a door to separate our bed from the children's space and very spacious for all. When we asked our four year old what he enjoyed about his stay he said, "sausages and the bunk...

Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable (family room) at the top of the house right on the sea front. The landlady greeted us with a cup of tea and biscuits (very welcome after a day's cycling ) and was really helpful with recommendations for dinner and directions round town. Great location with pubs, restaurants and sea all within walking...

We booked to stay at The Rusty Anchor as my partner was given a Buy a gift voucher, so we used that for one night & paid for one night, looking at the information and photographs online , the guesthouse looked lovely and on the seafront, it's actually on a residential road a short walk from the seafront. We had...

The family rooms are ideal for travelling adults and kids. Proprietor has put a lot of thought into the guesthouse. We were made to feel welcome from our arrival to our departure. She really went above and beyond. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. My seven year old was made comfortable and the family room has a...

The landlady, Jan, is so very friendly and welcoming. Happy to advise. When we arrived, the front of the building was having a freshen up so frontage spoiled by scaffolding. Not a big deal. However, the b&b is so tired, dated and the facilities are poor. There is a peculiar odour throughout also. I don't really want to list ALL...

We stayed one night whilst visiting our daughter who has started university in Plymouth. We had a family room, which has a separate room for the children which is a nice touch. The room was clean, warm, fresh and well equipped for a short stay. Bed was comfortable and the black out blinds worked well. Breakfast was freshly cooked in...

Comfortable stay, in a great location for seeing Plymouth attractions and food places. Our host was knowledgable about the area. The room was clean and presentable and the breakfast was good. Nice place to stay. We would go back.

Stayed here for one night, very friendly greeting, great room, given good information for places to eat locally and within walking distance, great views, breakfast very delicious. In a nice part of the city, very reasonable in price, would come back again.
