I stayed here for a few nights on business. Paula was so warm and welcoming and my room was lovely. Breakfast was excellent. I went for the cooked option, however there was also a lovely spread of fresh fruits and continental options. Will definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Plymouth.

Thank you Paula for providing a delightful overnight stay for a lady travelling alone on business. The house is warm and welcoming and Paula is delightful. My only regret is that I don't eat a lot at breakfast because there is plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Only downside - don't park your car under the trees opposite, nest site...

This lovely B & B is just 2 minutes walk from the Hoe, and 10 minutes walk from the Barbican & city centre. We stayed in the room at the top of the house, which was lovely & clean, spacious and comfortable. The en-suite had a nice shower and clean white towels. Plus the view from room over the park...

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here, I wouldn't look for anywhere else. The rooms are very clean & comfortable, the breakfast is delicious. Paula, the landlady is a star, such a friendly & caring person, nothing is ever too much trouble. I would definately recommend this place to my friends.

My mum left the men at home and visited my son in Plymouth. This was a lucky find and a lovely B&B. Paula who runs this great little place was very welcoming and breakfast was cooked to order in the morning. We had a twin room on the first floor, this was a good size and had space to relax...

I was recommended the Acorns & Lawns by a relative living locally. The booking procedure was easy with a friendly and informative response from Paula, the proprietor. I had a warm welcome and the offer of a tea and luxury biscuits on arrival. The guest house has been modernised and decorated throughout. The entrance and corridors are beutifully clean and...

I stayed here for one night as I was venturing out into Plymouth with work colleagues, I was being met a 2nd night for another work night out, so had another colleague staying with me for a 2nd night. I had a twin room, which was a great size, excellent view towards the Hoe and lighthouse, tea and coffee making...

This is a real find. The b&b is immaculately clean and modern in its decor. Painted brilliant white and filled with quirky objects and furniture. Its location is great for the city and the views from the front windows over the Hoe are wonderful. But the real gem is Paula, the landlady, who is welcoming, accommodating and helpful in every...

Very well priced b&b ideally placed in the Hoe in Plymouth. Centrally located to city centre and all major attractions. Rooms are new, well appointed and have a nice feel to them. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of it. Can't praise this b&b enough, we really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a short or long...
