We booked two rooms (double/triple) for flying family visit just after New Year, so very off-season. Husband & write staff team couldn't have been more helpful to make us feel welcome, even co-ordinating with two separate arrival times and sending on the latecomers to recommended late-serving restaurant, whilst demonstrating expertise in juggling cars around mini-car park (but generous by town...

Just stayed for an overnight to enjoy a visit to the very near by Lyric theatre. The hotel has an imposing Georgian frontage and that great sense of space inside. Has some parking on the frontage and is a 2 block walk down gentle slope to the shops and Theatre. Modern and shiny large en-suite in the spacious room. Breakfast...

The Imperial is ideally located to access the City Centre, Theatre and nearby restaurants as well as the Hoe and Barbican. Staff are friendly, helpful and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was first class with freshly cooked to order food with a wide choice from full English to a lighter continental offering. (Even Kippers for those who like them!!)

Always cheerful, always willing to help, from parking to where to go, staff in the hotel were superb. Hotel was clean, comfortable and nicely modernised, in a great position close to the Hoe, Barbican and town centre. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed as our Daughter had an interview at Plymouth Art College, she came down from London, Gran from Christchurch...

We only wanted to be in Plymouth one night but needed parking, and walking distance to shops and aquarium and restaurants. This hotel fitted the bill as well as being well run, clean, good wifi, comfy room, friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

We had a lovely 1 night stay. Hotel is situated 5 mins walk from the Hoe and 10 mins to the main shopping centre Drakes Circus and the harbour. Staff very helpful and informative. Car park at hotel is limited but have good scheme where parking permit can be bought for £2.50 to park on the road all day.

Great location - close to the Hoe and sea front and old harbour area (Barbican) and easy access to the shops of the city centre ( 5 minutes). Nice decor - the hotel has history and atmosphere, and a comfortable lounge, stocked with daily newspaper and a mixed selection library for reading (especially if wet outside) Comfortable bedroom and bed...

The Imperial is a gem in Plymouth. Perfectly sited for our trip to the Plymouth Gin Factory and the Theatre Royal. The staff were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble They were genuinely interested in our stay. The room was faultless and so was breakfast.
