Check in at reception was very friendly and efficient. (19-11-2016) Our room (3) was very big, very well decorated had lots of tea, coffee and milk and had a fantastic view over the surrounding countryside. The bathroom was probably the best i've seen in a hotel, very clean, twin sinks, hugh bath and separate shower. Complimentary bathrobe and slippers also. We...

Arrived having been driving for 6hrs, entered reception, expecting a warm welcome instead. there was what looked like a wallpaper pasting table with a cloth trying to cover it, straight away let me state the receptionist perched behind was professional and friendly, we proceeded to our room,it looked tired and dirty, cobwebs hanging from light, holes in bed linen and...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on the 4 November. We booked a standard double but on arrival discovered we had been upgraded to a deluxe room. We had read some bad reviews of the hotel but when we entered the room we were pleasantly surprised. The room was huge, nicely decorated with a very comfortable king sized...

We didn't stay at the hotel but visited for a family function. The hotel provided afternoon tea and the quality of the food was excellent. There were sandwiches, three different types of scone, various cakes etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful, however the location within the hotel was the only disappointment. It was a cold day and the...

We stayed at the hotel after attending a wedding reception at the hotel. Stunning location.. The wedding party were served a selection of Sandwiches, nachos and some sort of mini quiche. The Sandwiches seemed to have been left out and were hard and dried out, the Nacho's were soft and the quiches, well..unsure what to say about these, but they...

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. It was great. While I enjoyed the golf course my wife enjoyed the treatment's and the pool. The food was good and the bar was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was amazing as we had the honeymoon suite. Beautiful grounds, peaceful and quiet.

My wife used the spa whilst my daughter and I enjoyed the pool. Parts of the hotel perhaps could do with an upgrade but it is reasonably priced. Not overly...

First impressions on driving into the car park are of a hotel of faded past glories and a place that has seen better days. It looks as though the hotel is being refurbished and we stayed in a room that had been. The room was very large with a very small tv, we didn't want to watch tv but I...

Pay no attention to the whining reviews that pick the slightest issues to complain about just to get attention or discount next trip. This place is Wonderfull. My wife and I have just returned from our trip to visit friends. This was our choice of place to stay. Firstly just do the maths. We looked at travel lodge. Soulless room...

Impressive grounds and excellent pool and sports facilities, bar and restaraunt are very good with a nice menu and very good quality food. Negatives are reception area looks amereurish, rooms have cobwebs in corners and bit dated but ok apart from that.
