My husband, son, two friends and myself stayed at the Kistor for 5 nights. Form arriving to leaving the service we received was fantastic. The hotel is clean and has started to undergo refurbishment which will make for an even better stay. The bar and waiting staff were second to none. Our waiter Bart was fab, we definately would like...

The Kistor is a well run, very friendly hotel, with the best evening entertainment we have experienced for a very long time. Although the food was excellent we did feel, however, that the menu would benefit from slightly more variety. Also we did feel that internally the Hotel did require some modernisation of the decor ( which may already be...

Many thanks for your review. I am sorry you didn't win the jackpot but at least you did better than most! You are quite right there are areas that need modernising and you are also correct in that plans are indeed a foot to rectify this. We are restarting our room redecorating program again and the corridors, public toilets etc...

Excellent hotel and only a few minutes walk from the sea front. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel provides entertainment every night which always had a great atmosphere and the bar staff looked after us very well. Check out the extensive range of cocktails that are available, we tried 3-4 different ones and all were very yummy! Looking...

We had a room with a view which although was not a big room it was very clean and had a lovely view of the bay. Our friends had a family room which was quite roomy and very clean but could have done with redecorating as did most of the corridors upstairs and in particular in need of a new...

Thank you ever so much for your kind remarks. I agree and have instigated a new program of redecoration in the corridors starting in the very near future when we are not so busy with private guests. Oh yes, you are so right ! Our cocktails in the Pink Fountain are developing quite a reputation in and around Torbay. Hurricane...

Large attractive hotel, just 5 minutes walk from the prom. Airy room, but lacked air con. Spotless throughout. Bedding & towels whiter than white. Exceptional food with a good menu content. Evening entertainment very good, except for the Bingo. Staff from top Management to 'waiting on' were so helpful and very pleasant. Will certainly visit again.

The Hotel has an excellent location and has easy access inside, (lift). The bedroom although spacious was shabby decor wise but very clean, and very good room service. The bar and entertainment area including the dining room were very comfortable with plenty of room to relax , dance, etc. The evening entertainment was enjoyable inc The Bingo all of which...

What can I say? This is the real thing! When you arrive, you will see this BIG PINK HOTEL and the first thing you feel is; THIS IS THE PLACE! When you meet Peter, the manager, you understand why this is the place to stay! I LOVE TORQUAY & KISTOR HOTEL // Uffe Bejerstrand from Sweden

We've recently spent 3 nights in this hotel & it was a lovely break. It's just over the road from the beach & within walking distance to the Marina & town although the litle road train stops opposite & for £3 return you can take a ride instead. The rooms were cosy - not as spacious as the big hotel chains...

Thank you for a very fair review. We are enjoying some very kind comments recently, due in part to the extensive changes to our exterior and refurbished lounge. I would like to thank all our guests for their patience whilst these alterations took place and also for some of the confusion concerning cream teas. The advertising of which was published...

Just come back from a week away at the kistor hotel and had a very plesant experience. Hotel was perfectly situated with just a short walk to the sea front, and across the road from the golf, tennis and bowls.
