We were in Torquay for a 5 day break and were not stopping at The Kistor however we looked at the Tourist literature ( as you do ) for other places or deals to be had. I was taken by a fullpage advert in Whats On, The English Riviera and also the English Riviera Attarctions booklet for a buy one...

I am very sorry that you received such a negative answer to your request for a Cream Tea. It is quite certain that we need to spend a little more time training some of our staff with regard to customer service. It is true we have on the odd occassion become a victim of our own success by running out...

This is such a lovely hotel. Clean, friendly and the food was amazing. All the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The only thing I would say was to prepare yourself for the size of the meals, they're huge and very tasty...be prepared to leave a bit heavier than when you arrive! We had a fantastic weekend here.

We are just back from a very enjoyable five day holiday with Gee Vee. The food was very good and the waiter service excellent. The entertainment was very good and Peter/Jethro could make a living from comedy should the hotel industry suddenly come to a halt. Anyone who can't manage stairs might be advised to check beforehand as the lift...

Thank you for your great review! What a shame you didn't have your bathers ... Our pool is renowned both for it's warmth and the clarity of the water. Yes we pride ourselves in providing first class entertainment in the 'Kistor Entertainments lounge' A great line up this year and some changes in the pipe line for next year too!...
