We arrived at The Cary Arms on a Sunday for a total of five nights, the first of which we spent in shell cottage then moving the following day to the self-contained Smugglers Cottage for the remainder of our stay. On arrival at the hotel...More
A lovely hotel, in a wonderful location. We stayed in a beach hut. A surprisingly well sized living room with a good shower room and bedroom on mezzanine floor. Top quality fixtures and fittings and very well furnished and equipped. First class. Superb views over...More
Walked down to the Cary Arms on a lovely sunny afternoon. I used to live close by many years ago and it was my local. It hasn`t lost any of its charm. The staff are really nice. We sat and relaxed for several hours. Its...More
Second visit to the Cary Arms and it's just as wonderful as I remembered.

The hotel is a proper dog friendly hotel! Nothing is too much trouble- our dog was treated like a celebrity hee hee!! They put a bed and abowl with treats in your room - plus they have their own menu in the restaurant. They can eat in the bar with you. The only place they aren't allowed is the conservatory restaurant. We took his blanket and a chee and he sat on the floor beside us. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Yes. When you arrive park your car immediately in front of the hotel door and unload any luggage. The receptionist will give you a card for the car which you display in your windscreen. The car park is down a steep ramp its only a couple of hundred yards but you don't want to lug anything up the hill back to the hotel.
