Booked a couple nights away in the beautiful Osborne Hotel. Firstly the views are to die for and a sea view room is a must. Looks like they have under gone some refurbishments lately. Room was gorgeous and the reception, restaurant and bar area all looks like it is newly decorated. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming...

Having stayed in 2016 and being really impressed we could not wait for this return visit and on first impressions we were impressed with the new reception and crescent bar area and then it all went downhill. Last year we stayed in a superior room (torkey) and were overall impressed apart from the shower pressure, this year we though we...

Stayed in this hotel last weekend do be tricked by the pictures on the website or bookings.com. Having stayed in a lot of hotels through work we decided to book the Osborne as a treat with my wife, 4* indoor / outdoor pool, nice restaurant, gym and grandeur setting what more could we want? Well for it to be well...

Just had a 2 night break here. Beautiful setting, the building is quite spectacular and the views across the bay are outstanding. Overall the feeling inside is of faded splendour. Closer inspection reveals much that is not quite up to the mark. We had a sea view room, comfortable and clean, bathroom clean but lacking in a decent range of...

The problem with planning a holiday in the UK is the weather cannot be guaranteed. Fortunately the room we booked at The Osborne Hotel on a special deal was a superior sea view room which was large and very comfortable. Saturday 29th April was sunny but very windy. The M5/A38 was clear giving us an easy run from home to...

My wife and I had visited this hotel 50 years ago courtesy of my parents who paid for us. Seeing an offer in the Daily Telegraph we decided a revisit was on the cards. We were not disappointed. Knowing the wonderful setting we opted to upgrade to a superior seafront room which is well worth the extra cost if you...

Visited the restaurant for dinner and lunch. Wonderful service and lovely food. The new bistro type restaurant offers a more competitively priced menu with a good range of delicious choices. My husband and I were very impressed. Will definitely be returning.

We had a family room with a sea view. It was perfect for our family of four as the children's room was separate and spacious. The hotel is a 10 minute walk down the hill into town. The staff was very friendly. The only let down was the breakfast. The buffet choices were very limited, only cereal and croissants. The...

The reception on arrival was very well organised and we booked in pretty quick. However despite having forewarned the hotel on bookeny that we were Senior Citizens we were given a room as far from the centre of things as possible. The room was right out of the fitties apart from the facxt that it had a bathroom which was...
