My husband and I stayed in the accommodation above The Buccaneer for 2 nights. The accommodation was spacious, well equipped, comfy and competitively priced. We were very happy. We ate our evening meal in the pub, both having tiger prawns cooked in garlic butter with fries, baguette and salad. This was generously portioned, cooked fresh and cost £12.95. During our...

Very disappointing meal all round. Wife had the roast beef very thinly sliced could well have come out if a packet. Roast potatoes we're frozen and deep fried. I had the cod definitely not locally caught more than likely again out of a packet and the fish and chips tasted of being cooked in old oil. Not for me and...

There are two rooms above this pub which have amazing views over Babbacombe Downs to the sea beyond. We stayed in The Schooner room which was very large & extremely clean. The decor of the room was very good & it even had a small fridge, microwave, crockery etc. The pub doesn't do breakfast but there are lots of little...

We stayed in the sloop room which was spacious, clean and had a fantastic enclosed balcony with a table an chairs looking out to a gorgeous view of the sea, even though downstairs for dining was very busy they ensured we had...

My husband and I stayed here last month and had a fabulous visit to beautiful babbacombe. The staff greeted us with smiles and felt welcome from that first contact. Even a busy bar and many dinning, we were well looked after in a friendly atmosphere. The food was really tasty and the dinning area felt quite cosy in the evening....

We stayed in The Sloop for two nights. Very nice and comfortable with spacious bathroom, room and a bonus indoor balcony to observe the superb sea view. They don't serve breakfast or have wi-fi, however this is reflected in the price which we found more than reasonable, for a very nice cooked breakfast, we went to Angels located next door...

We cannot recommend this wonderful place enough. The owners, Steve and Marion, and their staff were very friendly, and couldn't do enough to help. The room is light, airy, spacious and with a really spectacular view over the bay, which we enjoyed every morning while eating breakfast. The food, when we ate in the pub, was very good, and the...

so we found the Buccaneer after searching for the bank holiday weekend as a last minute decision to visit Torquay and the B&B we were looking to stay at was fully booked, and we thought that the price for the rooms looked too good to be true, The experience did not disappoint. Upon arriving in Babbacombe we found the carpark...
