Every consideration has been given for guest comfort at this really lovely small hotel, in a unique situation. A perfect place to relax, so quiet, but in easy reach of everything. Leon and Paula are so approachable, and the house is kept in immaculate condition. They are providing perfect accomodation for a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend it to...

I spent 4 days at Lanscombe House and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality B&B in the Torquay area. It was sufficiently out of town to be easily accessed and yet near enough to be handy for the centre of Torquay. It was very professionally run.

With my daughter and son-in-law I was looking for a quality hotel that would give us the chance to relax and unwind in comfort. We also wanted somewhere that was not going to be miles from anywhere. It seemed a tall order - but Lanscombe House fitted the bill absolutely perfectly. Leon and Paula were perfect hosts nothing was too...

We recently had a lovely stay and felt totally relaxed and welcomed by our hosts, who were only too happy to chat and recommend walks and places to eat. The rooms are spacious, spotless, comfortable and everything is run smoothly. It's a wonderful place with bags of history and the location is superb. I would recommend you to stay there,...

We stayed at Lanscombe House for two nights and it was not long enough!! The room was large very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the small box of chocs!! and what a treat, real coffee (kept in the fridge on the landing) and a Cafeteire. The breakfast room is light and very nicely arranged,...

We went back to Lanscombe house a year later and enjoyed our stay even more than last year also taking friends with us this year. There wasn't loads of changes, but the ones that had been made just make it even better. They have brand new tables and chairs in the breakfast room and a slight change to breakfast which...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is such a lovely, peaceful atmosphere at Lanscombe and it thoroughly deserves all its accolades. It was so pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the late afternoon sun, and the honesty bar is excellent. What's more, the pancakes with maple syrup and bacon which I enjoyed for breakfast were to die for!

Lanscombe House was beautiful. Our room was spotless & had lovely french windows opening onto the garden. Breakfast was delicious & it is all locally sourced. The owners are very friendly & helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. Cockington is ideal as you can enjoy the peaceful, quaint surroundings but the hustle & bustle of Torquay etc is only just...

Set within a very quite pictueresque village, with little gift shops and tearooms. Lanscombe House is ideal, if you want to visit the Torbay area, and then retreat in the evening to the peace and tranquillity of village life. We were in room five, which was large, well laid out and very clean. I feel that Leon & Paula have...

We found Lanscombe House on the internet and certainly were not to be disapponited. Upon arrival we were greeted with tea and coffee in the garden and with the beautiful silence of the Devon countryside we were soon relaxing. Lanscombe House is very clean and our room was spotless with everything you need, although the bathroom was a little small....
