On arrival a parking bay had been allocated for our estate car directly behind the hotel making it easy access for my husband to come and go without having to use the steps too often at the front of the hotel. The refurbished room was smart clean and tidy. More than adequate for our stay. The safe in the room...

My mum and dad went down last weekend for a couple if days due to a family issue. The hotel is run by the owners they only do bed and breakfast. They are very nice people and the hotel is lovely. They even did an early breakfast for my mum before she and dad had to leave for the coach...

room 1 newly decorated new windows and a new look, a truly nice place to be. the staff (ha ha) Tina and Michael still provide exceptional service and first class good old fashioned curtesy. hotel Barton was good before and I didn't think it could be beaten in its price range but they beat themselves into second place.

A really good experience to be repeated as often as is possible.the hotel was fresh and clean and a delightful place to be when not oudoors .the owners though new to the hospitality game performed like seasoned professionals and the breakfasts were as my wife put it WOOP WOOP.

What a refreshing hotel too spend time at, the hotel is clean and well maintained with a lot of work having taken place. The breakfast was brilliant, and probably too much, the staff were so friendly and very helpful. It is within easy walking distance of the town and there was a lot of food outlets on the way down...

Very good hotel great location breakfast very nice room very clean bed very comfy nothing was to much trouble for the owners would recommend a stay there to anyone and we will be definitely returning there

Just come back from at weekend stay. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast very nice, great location only 5-10 min walk to town/harbour. And the owners were very welcoming and very friendly. Will stay again sometime next year.

Starting their hotel improvements soon, this hotel will improve more with new stamp by new owners Michael &Tina. They are a lovely couple. Very accommodating and learning their trade all the time. Breakfasts are very nice 10/10. Rooms are excellently cleaned and warm. Soon to undergo refurbishment. Very reasonably priced too. Look forward to seeing you again. Much respect. Bev,...

Stayed here for 5 nights and was really happy with our stay. The owners were really nice and breakfast was perfect. Rooms very clean. Made to feel welcome straight away. Will be back when we visit again. Only a short walk from town. Thank you very much

We arrived without booking, owner was very obliging and we were shown an option of two nice rooms, we chose the smaller one as it was ample for the two of us. Room 2 Room/bathroom/shower was spotlessly clean and bed really comfortable. The room was warm which was nice too. Breakfast was excellent, every choice you could think of was...
