I spent two nights here, and was warmly welcomed and immediately upgraded from a single to a double room at no extra cost. It is within easy walking distance of the harbour. The room was at the top of the hotel, but that was no problem. Everywhere was very clean, and the room and en suite bathroom were comfortable and...

We had a room on the top floor so we had a good view of the street and passers-by at any time of the day - interesting. The room and hotel were clean. Congenial host for whom nothing was too much trouble. A good breakfast was served with any variation (within reason). Bus stop outside the property and the main...

Recently stayed at Hudson Hotel. I do have a few negative comments Room cold (no heating) and no hot water (sink tap). Extractor fan in bathroom stays on too long so if you put the light on in middle of night to fan stays on for about 30 mins. Car park at rear is very small and lane is narrow....

I find the remark concerning car parking most strange. The previous review to this one states and I quote; "parking very good considering how close to the harbour and shops". (I would just add there is a garunteed car park space for every room in the hotel) With regard to lack of heating and hot water, I would just say...
