Over the last 20 years, my partner and I have stayed in almost every"proper" hotel in Torquay. None compare with the Lincombe Hall. The hotel is set in lovely grounds a short walk from the harbour. I made the reservation by telephone. It was very pleasant to be greeted by a happy person who explained the options carefully. On our...

My second visit to the hotel was excellent value for money. Although I stayed in a standard room, it was clean with a decent bathroom. Staff were very attentive and the steak I ate on my second night was perfectly cooked. Recommend it unreservedly.

Lovely hotel in a great location. This was our first visit to Torquay and we really enjoyed our four night stay. The hotel is a short walk away from the harbour, restaurants, pubs and bars, giving us plenty to get up too in both the day and evening. Our double room was clean and bright (as was the rest of...

The hotel is beautiful in nice grounds. A period hotel. Very welcoming staff and nice clean room They have a small indoor Polk and hot tub, very clean Nice bar and good restaurant although a little expensive. Good breakfast. The only disappointing item was on leaving being told that they were charging an extra 2% for using a credit card....

The hotel is well located with a short walk to the harbour and sea front. It is uphill to get back but this is Torquay everything is either uphill or downhill. The staff were excellent and managed to make the atmosphere very relaxed but were attentive when it was needed. I was disappointed with my meal in the restaurant, but...

My second visit to this hotel within three months. On my first visit all was faultless but on this occasion it wasn't quite as before. Instead of staying in the main hotel we were placed in the annex, room 34 I think. The room was noisy because of the road running adjacent to the hotel, you could here all that...

We stayed here for a week to celebrate a significant wedding anniversary. Having previously selected a Gold room we have not been disappointed in any way and love this hotel. The breakfast is comprehensive and I've had something different every day. We sampled dinner last night which was top quality and delicious. The staff are most courteous and helpful at...

This place tries so hard to be a really top class hotel, but I am afraid to say that it falls a little short. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the harbor and shops, but a real uphill trek on the way back. there is plenty of free parking, and wi-fi throughout the hotel. I feel that...

First off, if you have to go to Torquay and you don't want to risk a bad room or dirt or lacklustre staff then this Hotel is a sure bet that leaves you trouble free to enjoy your stay in Torquay. Stats; Public Areas are purposefully left antique yet chic and very clean, impressive and comfortable. Rooms are clean and...
