Made my fourth visit to Lincombe Hall last month and will most certainly be returning. What makes this hotel so special is that you are treated as a welcome guest and not just a customer as in many of the larger hotels. The staff, without exception, are very friendly and helpful, the manager is " hands on " and can...

This hotel is excellent. We stayed for five nights in a fantastic gold room on the front of the hotel which had a huge bay window overlooking the lawns. Really everything one could wish for. Huge bed and so comfortable, spotlessly clean and a brilliant bathroom with lovely soft towels and bathrobes. The staff were so friendly and eager to...

Thank you for your lovely review and all your positive comments about our services. We are pleased that you enjoyed your five night stay with us and having replaced every mattress in the hotel over the last 18 months with 5* mattresses, it is great that you found the bed comfortable as well as everything spotlessly clean. I have noted...

I have just stayed 2 days in this lovely hotel just a few minutes walk away from the quay and the centre of town. The hotel is full of character and has lovely friendly staff. My room was a standard family room < 1 double and a single bed > it had a large bright and spotlessly clean bathroom and...

Thank you for your wonderful comments, it is always pleasing for all the team to get such a positive review and fantastic that you enjoyed everything we had to offer including our breakfast and dinner service. The temperature has been a little difficult this year, we turned on the heating because it got cold mid October but it then went...

This privately owned hotel offers really good value and benefits from the interest shown by the owner and his family. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. Both the buffet style breakfasts and the waiter served evening meals are good quality with an adequate choice for each course. Another attraction is the entertainment, which was provided on most evenings...

My husband and I stayed at the Lincombe Hall for one night to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly, the atmosphere rubbing off on all the guests who were chatty to each other in the evening. Our room was a compact double and we were pleasantly surprised at the size of...

I feel like I must have stayed in the wrong hotel after reading the glowing reviews in Trip Advisor.where do I start, Room 34, the wall paper was peeling off, the room temperature was stiflingly hot and no way to adjust the temperature. The walls between rooms have no sound deadening, we had to listen to the couple in the...

Thank you for your review although we do feel scoring us a 1 and calling the hotel 'Terrible' somewhat harsh based on your comments (our first 1 out of 5 score ever), primarily based on the fact that a guest in an adjacent room was noisy, not always something we can do anything about. Room 34, that you stayed in,...

This was our third visit to Lincombe Hall, this time spending 3 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had one of the patio rooms in the annexe which was really lovely. My son chose to get married and hold his reception at this hotel at the end of August. Having visited many hotels in the area we went back to the first one visited, the Lincombe Hall Hotel.
