Firstly, over all we had a nice break at The Norcliffe in Babbacombe, the hotel was clean, but quite dated, and definitely catered for the older person in many ways. Our room was kept clean and a cleaner came round to tidy each morning, and the beds were fine for us. The window and shower was a little temperamental, but...

Just got back from a 5 day coach break. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Norcliffe Nick and Karen couldn't do enough for you, food excellent. Nick goes that little bit extra - theatre night he ran a ferry service in his own car to get people there although it's only a short walk the weather was terrible so he...

Have just come back from a 5 day, 4 night stay with my 12 year old grand daughter at the Norcliffe Hotel with David Urquhart Coaches. I had read some of the reviews and on the whole they seemed to be good, but although we found that, yes Nick was friendly, but after a while we also found he liked...

We have been on many trips with David Urqhuart in the past, this trip being one of the best, apart from the long journey. The location is superb with amenities within walking distance. The hotel is 2* and although it is a little dated it is clean and comfortable. The staff go out of their way to make you feel...

Stayed 4 nights with a coach party. First room offered was small, shabby, badly lit and generally grubby. "Upgraded" the room to the best in the hotel at extra cost - wonderful view but down hill from thereon, the room was scruffy and the bed headboard looked as though it hadn't been cleaned for many years! The bathroom was poorly...

Have just spent a lovely week at the Norcliffe Hotel, room was basic but clean. Nick Karen and staff couldn’t have been more helpful or more pleasant, the amenities were very good and the food was excellent with very generous portions all cooked fresh, Nick even going so far as to make me special vegetarian meals. The entertainment included was...
