Great location with parking for guests, a few minutes walk from the town centre. Lovely room (we had the family room) with views over the river. Enormous walk in shower and decent sized bath towels !! Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent. Would certainly recommend a visit or stay.

Went to the steam packet on new years Eve for a family (13) meal. As you can imagine the place was packed but we were shown straight to our table by attentive staff. There was a little wait for the food as you can expect on such a busy night but boy the quality of the food was outstanding. Beautiful...

Nice waterside 'pub with rooms' in this interesting little town. Modern/cosy/clean bedroom with large TV, wifi and coffee/tea making facilities. Tasty freshly cooked breakfast. Well stocked bar that's popular with visitors and locals alike. Friendly staff and management. Narrow, steep stairs might challenge some.

I have been popping in on Friday eves for the last 3 years as my son has rugby training. Unfortunately this will have to stop after my beer went up by 40p in a week to £3.90 a pint (doom bar). Apparently it is "due to Christmas", it would have been better if the normally lethargic staff cleared the tables...

Stopped by for lunch on the off-chance... Although fully booked in the restaurant (with Christmas lunch groups) the manager very kindly 'fitted us in' the bar area. Lovely open fire with cozy seating, welcoming staff and reasonably priced quality pub fare. We will be sure to visit again and soon.

We had my brother and sister inlaws wedding celebration meal here yesterday. The meal was fantastic, the staff very friendly and helpful and made the event a lovely memorable day. This is a gem of a pub in Totnes and have always liked poping in for a pint by the river. The pub proved itself yesterday as an excellent event...

Was greeted on arrival by the manager and taken to our room. Went down for lunch, all the staff were very welcoming, and the food was lovely. The accommodation was very clean and modern, big TV, huge walk in shower. Will definitely stay again should we return to Totnes
