Had the unfortunate experience of having a Sunday roast here today. The premises are really lovely, we sat outside. The roast served was beef, tough as leather, yorkshire pudding soggy and soaked in a pool of gravy. Veggies totally uncooked. No taste whatsoever, really poor as compared to eating previously at this venue and on those occasions were really good.

We stayed at The Spyglass and Kettle for just one night B&B. We had a family room for 4 which was just perfect. Tidy, clean with Tele on wall. Shower room was small but served it's purpose. Breakfast in the morning was good and plenty of it! The food served in the bar in the evening - good menu selection,...

The place is scruffy. Parking is a nightmare with no guarantee of a space for residents. This is a pub with rooms so expect loud music until late at night, even audible on the top floor. The room itself was a death trap with mould and damp. Toilet seat hanging off. Ripped lifted carpet which is a major trip hazard....

I visited with my family for a mini break. The pub was great. Big inside and very popular, especially due to the freak hot and clear day on the Saturday! Easy enough to check in at the end of the bar (although I imagine that it might be a little more difficult if it was a really hot day during...

Food was reasonable for price. Slightly scruffy inside, could do with a refurbishment. Food arrived at table quickly and was hot. Not a great choice of beers. Could do with the heating turned up slightly!

This is a great place to pop in for lunch as the food is wholesome, service is quick and there are plenty of tables with a view out to sea. Good value for money. Friendly staff members. The menu is not extensive but you are sure to find something you like!

Surprisingly not been in before as only a 15 minute walk from our apartment and with a great location near the beach. Will have to try in summer. Nice place to watch the football with Sky. Good classic pub food. Service friendly with a smile. Will go back.

I had lunch here with my husband and his brother, and chose this pub mainly due to location near where my brother in law lived and the fact that it was right on the coast. We were very pleasantly surprised by how lovely the position was (great walks along the seafront), how friendly and welcoming the staff were and how...

This used to one of my favourite pubs for lunch but now they can't even do bangers and mash any more. The sausages must have been cooked yesterday and kept under an infra red light to make the ends that dry. Please try, we like this place!

The hotel was cosy and had everything you needed all under one roof including food/ and a bar. We had a family room, in it was king size bed and a sofa bed! It was set out next to a table like a seating area, with Tv and dressing table too! Very spacious and plenty of space to hang clothes...
