Found a reasonable last minute deal on booking.com so thought we would give this hotel a go. It looks grand on the outside but it is quite old and dated once your inside. We found the creaky floor boards quite annoying and the walls were thin as we could hear everybody passing by. We had the basic room and it...

This is a fine hotel in the grand tradition located on a hill with commanding views over Bournemouth and the English Channel and the wonderful beach here. Th hotel is not in it's first flush of youth but still gives the impression of a great hotel. The furnishings are a little on the faded side and access to rooms is...

Visited the Royal Bath as we had a Group on offer for a spa treatment and afternoon. Despite living local myself and my partner had never visited so when we arrived we went into the main reception area where I told the gentlemen that we had a spa day booked in - he looked at me like I had two...

Booked in for a brief one night stop over but was given a room in the West Wing. The room was subject to a constant noise coming from either some sort of venting or air conditioning which didn't stop all night. Worst night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel. If I'd have been staying for longer I'd have demanded...

The only other good thing I can say is that there was plenty of hot water. I requested a quiet room and true it was a long way from the lift and it was not on a main road. In fact it was in the West wing which looks like it might be a fairly recent addition to the hotel....

Well after reading some reviews I was a little uncertain of whether to stay at the Royal Bath, however I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and well apportioned. Beds were comfortable and bed linen changed every day. Hotel staff friendly and courteous. The bar area is excellent and in keeping with the history of the hotel. The spa...

We were very surprised by the cheap price for a stay in this hotel, so didn't expect too much from the start. We had a room nr 58, first floor. Room was OK, old furniture but clean and tidy. The problem was a heat in the room, why on earth they had heating on by the mild temperatures outside is...

We got a cheap deal via booking.com for a 2 night stay in a double room. Parking at £20 per night is very expensive - we used the pay and display car park to the right of the hotel, paying £10 for 24 hours. You can pay this on your phone (I think it's the paybyphone app/telephone number) meaning you...

Firstly, we got our self's a good deal on Booking.com so for the price i really can not complain. I read the reviews before coming and was put off massively, but on arrival the reception staff was lovely and more than helpful. The parking was so expensive £20 for one night but the parking nearby is £18 /£15 so i...
