Booked a one night stay in the late evening, room was clean and had a hairdryer, kettle and even a TV. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The on site parking was the only issue, it's pretty pricy! I feel that if you are staying in the hotel it should be free or cheap. Overall was a good experience.

The Roundhouse hotel has really gone downhill...while the staff are very helpful and courteous...the rooms, restaurant and building needs renovation. Beds in the room were poor, television from the 1980s, no hairdryer in room, cheap toilet roll, breakfast cooked from frozen and tinned food. Even the fruit was out of tins! Paid £125 per night for two nights, which is...

Can't begins to describe how poor this hotel is... The hotel has seen better days, it's at best a 1 star. I had Arrived in town very late so needed a room, Roundhouse was the only place with a room available so booked it. I jokingly asked the front desk if my room was the best, to which I was...

Used this hotel for a couple of nights for a stop over whilst visiting the local uni with my son. The staff are very very helpful and are happy to go above and beyond to make your staff comfy. The room was comfortable and basic which is what you expect for the money, the only downside is the room was...

Had a great 5 day tour to the Roundhouse with National Holidays. The manager, Wesley, had met all my needs as the leader of a 27 strong group of retirees from Newcastle upon Tyne. The tables in the restaurant were laid out as required and typed envelopes for the guests were ready on arrival. The Spanish head chef produced wonderful...

Don't come expecting the Ritz but for the amount of money this was great. Had really pleasant interactions with the man on reception and one of the bartenders. Only complaint would have to be the doorman in the evening who was really rude as he demanded our room numbers.

Not to beat about the bush the roundhouse is a dump, it was probably great about 25 years ago when it was last decorated. It is noisy, I stayed in one of the inside rooms and was woken up early then kept awake by the noise of the lift mechanism echoing around the courtyard. However the location is great, about...
