Only stayed one night at this hotel, but was very impressed. Welcoming check-in, beautiful house and rooms. Excellent breakfast. Good location too, just a short walk from the train station, and also the beach. Would love to return for a longer stay.

From the minute I arrived everything was dealt with perfectly, the room sensational, clean everything a guest needed and very well lit and laid out, the bed comfortable, tv in sitting room and bedroom, i will definitely return. I was visiting my aged mother that is suffering with dementia, during my meal I had an emergency call, having to leave...

I decided to treat myself on a drive from Hastings to Torquay and stay in the Prince of Wales' private suite. Everything about my stay was exemplary. From the moment I walked in when I was offered complimentary tea/coffee in the lounge while they took my luggage from the car up to my suite, to the dinner service and drinks...

Stayed at Langtry Manor for one night to celebrate my husband's birthday after finding a great deal on booking.com. Was overall happy with the experience for the money I paid however would have been a little disappointed if I had paid full price. I booked a Master Double Bedroom which according to Langtry's website should have a bath and a...

Exactly how a 'boutique' hotel should be. Big enough to cope with all needs without the 'corporate' feel of most business hotels. Bed was unbelievably comfortable. On par with the best places I've stayed around the world, let alone UK. I got a superb rate and had dinner thinking it would over compensate on the rate I paid. It didn't....

Trip Advisor is our go to, before visiting restaurants hotels etc. This hotel was 4th best in Bournemouth on here when we booked. All we can say to that is goodness knows what the lessor are like. We cannot understand the good reviews in the slightest. It is not just tired, it's exhausted and appears they can't afford to heat...

Location was quiet but easy to find while driving. A short walk to the sea and into the town. Our room was really lovely, clean, minimal, romantic. We went for a room with the spa bath and that was well worth the extra, so relaxing and a nice touch to the time away. The staff were very helpful. I'd love...

I don't often write reviews , however I do feel that this hotel experience is worth writing one about. Overall my stay albeit for one night we felt extremely welcome , the staff are all very friendly and ensure your stay is lovely. The history behind the hotel is great and the classic feel from the dining hall to the...

Fantastic week for New Year 2017. Good location; rooms are stunning; breakfasts excellent and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Dining room is stunning but lacks atmosphere for evening meal, so we ate out on a number of occasions.

We stayed here some two years ago and I believe during that time it has changed hands, and it shows. The hotel was cold and we were told that the heating did not come on until four o clock, not good enough. It was always warm and cosy before and in February you would expect the place to be heated...
