We have been using the Collingwood Hotel for about 2 years. We choose it because it advertised pet friendly. We have visited many times. The last in April this year. We booked 26th till 30th June. Hoping to celebrate our Anniversary on the 28th. On every visit to the hotel we walk our dogs, having had a nice day out...

We do have a limited number of rooms for guests who wish to bring their dogs. Guests are normally informed when booking that dogs are not permitted to remain in the public areas and this has been our policy for the last ten years. I am somewhat surprised that this has never been pointed out to you either during booking...

This must be one of the best 3 star hotels in the UK. Everything was great !--The staff-the rooms, the food, the entertainment, the pool, the snooker room ,the lounges and most of all the upkeep of the whole area which was immaculate and clean . Add to this a convenient car park and the closeness to the town and...

We had a small, but spotless, airy room just one street from the beach. It was outfitted with a kettle, tea, and cups, lovely fresh towels, and everything we needed. Dinner in the hotel was excellent, and we noticed lots of seniors at dinner so we knew the value was good. There was a live singer, guitar player with electronic...

Plenty of car parking at the rear, small gym and indoor pool, room was well appointed with all what you needed, breakfast was a little late for a business traveller however managed to work the time into the work days, evening meal had a welcomed changing menu and live entertainment aimed at a maturer audience.

I stayed here for a long weekend with my young daughter and my sister. My daughter made friends with all of the waiting staff, who went out of their way to accommodate her requirements (plate of broccoli for dinner? Plate of ham for breakfast? no problem!) The pool was a delight and always empty when we wanted to use it,...

We return to this hotel as quite frankly we think it is the best 3 star hotel in Bournemouth.Staff are all polite ,rooms are clean and in most instances quite large ,decor pleasing .. Located near the BIC is a bonus although the hill can be a killer! Food is great and drinks well priced.
